Cell phones, I-pods, and any other electronic device that plays music, games, etc. are distracting to the learning environment and should not be on campus. Because they are distracting to learning they are not to be used in class unless specifically allowed by the teacher. Having a device on in a classroom is considered use and any device found in a classroom may be taken by the teacher. Collected items will be taken to the office and may be returned to a parent.
I-pods, and music players are extremely high theft items. If they are brought to school they are susceptible to theft, and recovery of these items is often not possible. Bringing these items to school is done at your own risk. |
