Tobacco/Alcohol: Any student found using tobacco or alcohol in any form or having it in his/her possession on or adjacent to the school campus or on school activities may expect the following:

          1^st Offense - Student will be suspended for a minimum of one full school day.  A parent conference will be required before returning to school.  A referral to juvenile court will also be filed.

          2^nd Offense - Student will be suspended for a minimum of three full school days.  A second referral will be made to juvenile court and a parent conference will be required before he/she can return to school.

          3^rd Offense - Student will be suspended for five days pending action to be taken by the Board of Education recommending either expulsions or a restrictive educational program which will resolve the student’s use of tobacco at school.  A referral to juvenile court will also be filed.
