Assemblies are for the entire student body and should be attended.  Appropriate auditorium behavior includes no food or drink, sitting in the seats the right way with legs down, and being respectful to speakers and performers.  Students who violate this behavior may be removed, disciplined, and/or not be allowed to attend assemblies.

 

Clubs are intended to enrich the high school experience by providing social and leadership opportunities, as well as motivation to excel academically.  Club involvement can also improve chances of admission to a university and can enhance scholarship applications.  Students interested in forming new clubs can obtain the necessary forms for a club charter from Mrs. Williams, and must follow all requirements listed in the Washington County School DIstrict Policy 3640.  Applications for school clubs must be submitted to school administration by September 15 to be considered for a second semester charter and by January 15 to be considered for a first semester charter for the following school year.  Any student interested in joining a club can speak with the club advisor.   The following is a list of clubs that are active at Dixie High School:
