Students must check out of school through the attendance office.  A parent must either call the attendance office or the attendance office must call the student’s home to verify the student check out.  Notes will not be accepted to check a student out of school.  Students who miss school will not be allowed to attend extracurricular activities the same day of their absence.  This includes attending games, dances, or other school related activities.  Any student who has an unexcused absence or sluff may not participate in extracurricular activities for the next five school days following the absence or sluff.
