Dixie High School offers a variety of courses in the Advanced Placement program including;  Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, English Literature, English Language, European History, French, German, Government, Spanish, Statistics, and U.S. History.  These are our most rigorous courses.  They prepare students to take the Advanced Placement test at the end of the year.  Each test is $82.00 and fee waivers may reduce cost of the test.  Students must order the fee waiver and the test by mid-March.  Students who pass these tests with a 3, 4, or 5 are eligible to receive college credit.  Students should check with their college to see what credit is awarded for each test.
